William Henry Wood is an English multi-genre writer of short stories and a novelist. However, all his works have a common background… they are all set in the first half of the twentieth century, a period of unparalleled devastation in the history of mankind.

The self-published books include… supernatural thrillers and stories of the natural world with its abuse by mankind. Harrowing stories of the world at war, with family and friends reflections from those who survived. Larger works of fiction include a trilogy of espionage novels covering the period from 1933 to the end of WW2, fiction based upon actual events of the time.

William Wood writes under the name of William Henry Wood as both his grandfathers were William Henry’s. He added their name as a tribute to them as they inspired the stories which are set during their time.
